It seems like every other model that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show this year had absurd amounts of horsepower. And while the Hyundai Ioniq isn't a super/hyper car by any stretch of the imagination, it promises the sporty driving dynamics and performance that will make hybrid shoppers raise their eyebrows.

For a start, Hyundai has gone against the grain with the Ioniq by ditching the lemon-wedge profile that has marred hybrids for over a decade. Instead, all three iterations--hybrid, plug-in, and EV--boast a sporty profile, and equally athletic driving dynamics. With power numbers and range projections that make it more powerful than any other of its ilk, shoppers should be excited.

Behold.
