Hyundai Kona Electric
- The Hyundai Kona Electric: The Kona Electric, is equipped with a standard battery, and a range of 197 miles. Those selecting the optional 64.8-kWh battery, could achieve a possible 260 (estimated) miles of range. Designed with Hyundai's quick-charging architecture also found in the Ioniq series of vehicles (IONIQ 5 & IONIQ 6), it can be recharged rapidly. Current charge times range from 10 to 80 percent in about 45 minutes using 400V charging facilities.
- The Hyundai Kona Limited: Standard Kona power comes from a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Atkinson-cycle engine making 147 horsepower. The Kona Limited increases power with a turbo 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine making 190-hp. Both engines include an eight-speed automatic transmission. Buyers of the Kona Limited can order it with either standard front-wheel or optional all-wheel drive.
- Hyundai Kona N Line: The Kona N Line receives the same 1.6-liter turbo engine as the Kona Limited. N Line styling is designed more aggressively for the driving enthusiast. The Kona N Line includes body-color cladding, an N Line rear spoiler, special 19-inch alloy N Line wheels, sport seats and dual exhaust tips. A special Bose audio system and aluminum sport pedals round out the lineup. An aggressive wing-shaped front and rear fascia define the sport leanings of the N Line. Finally, the N Line model offers an aggressive lower stance.
"The all-new Kona and Kona Electric continue to build upon our extremely successful first-generation model, with outstanding efficiency, innovative technologies, distinctive styling, and comprehensive safety features," said José Muñoz, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor North America.
