There is ample storage space in both the under-elbow bin and the lower level console. Seats are comfortable for the long haul and include one-touch easy-access second row seating which slides forward and out of the way for access to the third row. Those third row seats aren't slouches either: they offer power folding, unfolding and reclining functions for those who enjoy a nap in the "way back."Â
With everyone living a connected lifestyle, you wonder, are there enough USB outlets? In a word, "Yes." In fact, there's seven of them located throughout the cabin. There's also the novel feature of the conversation mirror that allows the driver to see the passengers they are talking to in the back and the way back (The second and the third row). Class-exclusive Blind View Monitors complement the standard Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BSCAA) and provide easy to see body side views as turn signals are engaged.Â

Essentially a concert hall on wheels, the Palisade can be outfitted with Infinity's Premium Audio System with Clari-Fi. Clari-Fi is a feature used to restore audio recordings that have been lost because of the digital recording process. Take a listen, you'll be sold. Did we tell you the Palisade can haul all your things too? Behind the third row, there is 18.0 cubic feet of storage space. Fold the third row forward and that area opens up to 45.8 cubic feet.Â
Hyundai Palisade Performance
The new Palisade from Hyundai gets its motivation from an Atkinson-cycle 3.8-liter V6 direct injection engine which offers powerful efficiency. This engine produces 291 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, and an estimated 262 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm. It is delivered to either the front-wheel-drive or HTRAC all-wheel-drive systems via Hyundai's eight-speed automatic transmission, it can pull through whatever terrain it may find itself in. But it won't squawk about it: Hyundai has seen fit to reduce vehicle Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) to a very soothing level.Â
Oh and it can tow: The Hyundai Palisade can tow up to 5,000 pounds with available trailer brakes. Without trailer brakes, the limit drops to 1,500 pounds.Â
